Elder Voices: Southeast Asian Families in the United States

In this study, Detzner examines the life stories of 40 elders from Southeast Asian families who have immigrated to the US. He makes comparisons between the experiences of elders from four distinct cultural groups—Vietnamese, Cambodian, Lao, and Hmong— and identifies some of the factors affecting their success in establishing new homes and communities.
