Africa Is Not a Country

Expose students to a wide variety of nonfiction texts and concepts with the Third Grade Nonfiction Library. The books in this library range from challenging topics of animal identification to interesting tales from the world of sports and engaging accounts from the lives of significant historical figures. While this library is comprised mostly of nonfiction texts, a few titles lend themselves to presenting socially or historically pertinent facts through nonfiction narrative. Use this library to teach observational skills, text-to-text comparison, research processes, procedural writing, and so much more! The Third Grade Nonfiction Library supports Common Core State Standards in reading and writing for students in grade three.
