Employment and Unemployment in India: Emerging Tendencies During the Post-Reform Period

This book critically examines the emerging trends in employment and unemployment in the Indian Economy during the post-reform era. Using the latest round of NSS data, the author studies the impact of these structural economic reforms on: employment generation; unemployment and underemployment;'casualization' of employment; informalization of employment; and feminization of employment.
