The twelve landscapes in this serene calendar by Japanese woodblock artist Kazuyuki Ohtsu (Japanese, b. 1935) take us to parks and still waters, occasionally rural villages and temples. When human figures appear, they are small and anonymous. The colors of branches, blossoms, and mountains are elemental, deep, and true.
