Side Airbags

This volume chronicles the progress made in the design of side airbags from the mid-1980s to the present. It contains 28 technical papers originally presented at international conferences of the Society of Automotive Engineers and other organizations. Coverage includes not only thorax airbags, but other inflatable devices designed for side impacts and rollovers as well.
