Whited Sepulchres

Established Denominations stand on the brink of destruction but is this God’s will? Examination of recent Papal documents shows that the abdication of Pope Benedict and the acceptance of Pope Francis were contrived to halt the haemorrhaging of congregations. The question is why? The protestant church which is seemingly poles apart on theology and already split a hundred ways, appears equally beset. Are these two ‘enemies’ in fact on a collision course towards ecumenism and is this all foretold in the Bible? Can it really be a coincidence that a new Pope and a new Archbishop of Canterbury have been enthroned in the same year?
