This collection contains 14 selected papers on the management of water resources in North America. Papers cover a broad range of issues from Canada to Mexico, and from the management of water quality to the scheduling of irrigation. Papers focus on specific problems around the Great Lakes that involve the United States and Canada and along the border between Mexico and the United States. Other papers covered irrigation guidelines in face of water scarcity, water pricing, climatic change and its effect on irrigated agriculture, operating policies for multireservoir systems, and ethics of transboundary conflicts.
