This report details, in user-friendly terms, the procedures necessary for successful commercialization of infrastructure technologies. It describes the stages of the technical innovation-to-commercialization process, the stakeholders involved, and the roles they play throughout different stages of the process. Potential barriers and challenges to infrastructure innovation and commercialization are also examined. The report provides suggestions for overcoming barriers and lists industry resources that are available to assist the innovator throughout the entire commercialization process.
