Advances in Structural Optimization

Proceedings of the First US-Japan Joint Seminar on Structural Optimization at Structures Congress XIV, held in Chicago, Illinois, April 13, 1996.

This collection contains 20 papers highlighting improvements to the design and performance of structures contributed by engineers in the United States, Japan, Canada, and Hong Kong. Papers range from the highly theoretical to immediate applications.
