Two hitmen are sent to retrieve a stolen suitcase; a simple enough premise, but in 1994 when Pulp Fiction, with its gonzo mix of humor and violence, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, it created an international sensation. The film would go on to win an Oscar for Best Screenplay and garnered nominations for Best Director (Quentin Tarantino) Best Actor (John Travolta), Best Supporting Actor (Samuel L. Jackson) and Best Supporting Actress (Uma Thurman). This calendar features iconic moments and quotes from the film: Uma Thurman and John Travolta dancing, Bruce Willis saying “Zedd’s dead, honey.
