When Hilary O’Neill answers an ad to care for a man with a terminal illness she ends up falling in love with Victor, a fascinating, witty, complex person, whose illness has spanned half of his young life. As Victor’s health deteriorates, days with him in their secluded house by the winter sea become more difficult.
