Collected Interviews: Voices from Twentieth-Century Cinema

Dixon (film studies, U. of Nebraska and editor-in-chief of the Quarterly Review of Film and Video) presents fifteen interviews he conducted with writers, directors, animators, actors, and producers from a range of cinematic genres. Although most of the interviews have appeared before (in Film Criticism and other journals) they appear unexpurgated for the first time here. Among the interviewees are actor Vincent Price, "Ren and Stimpy" creator John Kricfalusi, B-movie director Roger Corman, and digital animator Sally Cruikshank.
