This volume contains all of John Dewey's publications for the year 1915, a year of great productivity, during which he published fifteen articles and miscellaneous pieces and three books. As Sidney Hook explains in his introduction, even though Dewey's greatest works were still to come, "the themes elaborated therein were already sounded and developed with incisive brevity in the articles and books of this banner year."
