Dialogue with Trypho

Originally published fifty years ago, this is a revised edition of Thomas Falls' translation of Justin Martyr's Dialogue . Written during the 1st century AD it comprises one of the earliest conversion accounts in Christianity, in which Justin recounts his conversion from Judaism to a Hellenised Jew. Justin's evidence for the divinity of Christ is the Old Testament. Thomas Halton's new, brief introduction outlines the significance of the text for Christian history.
