Cool people disseminate cool trends. The early adopters and improvers of new ideas are especially important; they convince others that the time has come to adopt an innovation. Benjamin Franklin is a role model for the behaviors of a cool trendsetter. In the COINs he created, he was always a galaxy, helping ensure that the swarm, collectively, were the stars.
