Some coolhunters go a step further. Rather than simply look for COINs and trends, they involve themselves in the actual creation of new trends by nurturing and cultivating new ideas. They are coolfarmers, who gain power by giving it away, seed communities with new ideas, mandate intrinsic motivation, and recruit other trendsetters.
