Absolutely Small, Chapter 10: The Hydrogen Atom, Quantum Theory

This chapter presents the quantum mechanical description of the hydrogen atom. It is very important because the hydrogen atom is the basis for understanding all atoms and molecules. The quantized (discrete) energy levels are discussed. The various shapes of the hydrogen atom electron waves, called wavefunctions, are described with graphs and diagrams.
