The Facility Management Handbook, Chapter 10: Sustainability in Practice

Design of buildings and their construction are briefly reviewed. Existing building practices focus on operations, maintenance, reuse, renovations and procurement policies as key areas for adoption of sustainability methods and products. The new position of Sustainability Officer or Director is also presented.
