Suggestions for further research are mostly topic-specific secondary works; no sources are cited for the information provided. Following that are a chronology from prehistoric and legendary times to 2003; an encyclopedia of people, dynasties, places, events, movements, and other aspects; a guide for travellers to China, for some reason; a chart for converting Pinyin to Wade-Giles; and a map of modern China.
