Toward a Dangerous World?: U. S. National Security Strategy for the Coming Turbulence

This study examines the foreign policy and security implications of a single dominant hypothesis: that a dangerous world may lie ahead. It proposes a scenario with three main aspects: political and economic tension in three primary regions, geopolitical relations of the West with Russia and China, and the tenuous Western Alliance cohesion.
