They wouldn't stand out in a crowd, they weren't considered the smartest or the strongest, and they probably wouldn't have been picked first in dodgeball. But Jesus wasn't recruiting a dodgeball team. He was looking for a group to get behind Him—to be His voice, His hands, and His feet after the inevitable. He needed the real deal. He needed committed followers. The Disciples will introduce six of the twelve men who devoted their lives to Jesus. For some the cost was high. These men sacrificed their careers, their possessions, and for some their lives.

The Disciples include Peter, James, John, Andrew, Thomas, and Matthew.
