A Curriculum for the Jewish Day School History Section 2 and Rabbinics Section 3

This volume contains curricular guides for both History and Rabbinics, subjects that are to be treated most fully in the middle school/junior high years. The section on history, written by Dr. Jay Stern, contains four units of instruction for grades seven and eight. The primary goal is to foster students' identification with the Jewish people. The section on rabbinics is written by Lisa Mickely, Dr. Jay Stern, and Dr. Shimon Frost. This section includes the study of Mishnah and an introduction to Talmud.
