Browning and Wordsworth

William Wordsworth's (1770-1850) aesthetic influence on fellow British poet Robert Browning (1218-1889) was at least as important as that of Shelley, contends Baker (English; Open U., U. of London, and U. of Westminster), especially on Browning's idea of the role of poets and how they ought to relate to the world.
