Medieval and Renaissance Drama in England

In this volume of the annual publication, Ceransano (literature, Colgate U.) compiles 10 essays and 18 reviews by an international group of scholars on English drama in the Medieval and Renaissance periods. The first three essays are from a session at the Marlowe Society Conference at Cambridge University in 2003 on the performance of Marlowe plays. Others discuss playhouses during the reign of James I, poetry, stage directions in Edward IV, acting, George Peele's Old Wives Tale, the Corpus Christi plays, and the Digby Mary Magdalen.
