Biomembrane Electrochemistry

Addresses the application of electrochemical techniques to biological membranes and channel processes. Explores the physical basis of biological sensory and energy transducing processing through a focus on the electrochemical properties of membrane proteins. Summarizes the important research accomplishments of a 5-year Membrane Electrochemistry program initiated by the Office of Naval Research. Also identifies the critical problems that require further research.
