Fire and Polymers: Materials and Solutions for Hazard Prevention

This text represents the state of the art in the field of fire and polymers, with specific emphasis on non-halogen approaches to flame retardancy, including additives and intrinsically fire-retardant polymers (fire-smart polymers). It is divided into six sections:
noncomposites, fire-smart polymers, polyurethanes, non-halogen
(ecofriendly) flame retardants, halogen flame retardants and assessment and performance of flame retardant polymers.
