Art of Prophesying

William Perkins was an influential English cleric and theologian who became one of the most significant leaders of the Puritan Movement during the Elizabethan era. Perkins was also a prolific Christian author who strongly advocated the Reformed theology.

The Art of Prophesying is Perkin's most famous work. In the book, Perkins states that preaching should be prophetic since a minister is speaking for God. This is considered an excellent read for people who are considering ministry.
