The Reform of the Common Agricultural Policy: The Case of the MacSharry Reforms

This book examines the political and economic processes at work behind the MacSharry reforms, which were enacted in 1992 in the latest attempt to reform the Common Agriculture Policy. The author takes an interdisciplinary approach, examining alternatives to the standard neo-classical agricultural economics and considering in particular the public choice paradigm.
