Israeli Family and Community: Women's Time

Seven contributions from feminist scholars look at the experiences of Israeli women in the family and the home. The volume opens with an examination of the phenomenon of the murder of women in the name of "family honor" within Palestinian society in Israel. Other topics include, for example, women on the kibbutz, women in the military, and portrayals of women in the Israeli media.
