Embrace: Cultivating Authentic Community 2018 Leader’s Guide provides tools for cultivating authentic community using a monthly gathering process. What kind of faith community do we have outside church doors? How can we cultivate authentic and meaningful community? Embrace has a relatively simple format – monthly meals with conversations around questions on a single theme. Bringing together people of different ages, life situations and backgrounds is highly encouraged for a small group of 8 to 12 members.
Embrace is a conversation. It is aimed at adults, but can suit younger participants too. It is not a class, seminar or study – and no specific faith, life experience or knowledge is required to participate.
In this book, you will find an explanation of Embrace principles and methods, a monthly reflection for leaders, question cards and images of slides (available in Powerpoint on our website), sample forms, etc. The materials in this printed book can also be found on our website: www.tsamtk.org.
