Middle English 'Mirror': An Edition Based on Bodleian Library, MS Holkam Misc. 40

An anonymous Middle English translation of Robert's middle-13th- century Anglo-Norman Miroir, or Les Évangiles des Domnées. It is a collection of 60 prose sermons for Sundays and various saints days throughout the liturgical year. Blumreich (English, Grand Valley State U., Michigan) introduces the text at length, notes textual variants in footnotes, and provides a glossary.
