The Smaller Mammals of Kawzulu-Natal

Because of its climatic and topographic variability, KwaZulu-Natal is extremely rich in fauna, containing over one half of all the smaller mammals of the entire southern African subregion. The scientific text covers the lesser known small mammals of this region including rodents, shrews, bats, elephant shrews, hares, primates, dassies and the aardvark and pangolin. The book includes 103 species accounts, 105 accompanying distribution maps and 48 color plates.
