An Archaeological Investigation of the Central Sinai, Egypt

Reports of an reconnaisance survey conducted by the Southern Methodist University during 1996, in which 75 sites were recorded (Chalcolithic/Early Bronze Age settlements) and then excavated, including a circular village with round houses, compound village camps, a game trap and open-air sanctuaries with square enclosures. The findings of both survey and excavation are revealed in detail.
