This collection contains more than 155 papers on engineering, construction, and operations in space. Topics include: mechanics of space structures; extraterrestrial mission; orbital mission; and specialty topics. Mechanics papers cover dynamics and control, response of composites, nonlinear response, integrity, design, thermomechanical response, and impact loads on space structures. Extraterrestrial mission papers report on lunar soil, concrete, oxygen and manufacturing, and lunar and Mars basing and construction. Orbital mission papers discuss space station and space facilities, mission to earth and communications, access to space and space ports, space environment, space power, and solar power satellite technology. Specialty topics include asteroid hazards, high school student papers, space-based astronomy, space policy, education, and human factors.
