This is the sixty-sixth annual yearbook from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. It contains 22 papers, separated into three categories on the foundations, the enactment, and the support of teaching. A sampling of the topics includes understanding language pitfalls and mathematics, developing students as learners, and facilitating teachers' growth in content knowledge.
