Between Genders: Narrating Difference in Early French Modernism

Wing (French studies, Louisiana State U.) explores how two novels, a novella, a pseudo-confession narrative, and an autobiography written and published in France during the early and middle 19th century represent gender in the bodies and desires of their protagonists.
