Hungary and International Politics in 1848-1849

The Hungarian Revolution of 1848-1849 abolished feudal government and society and laid the foundation for a free market capitalist economy. This volume relates the Hungarian revolution to the events of the Habsburg monarchy as well as in the rest of Europe, concentrating on initiatives in international relations.
