The Etruscans Outside Etruria

Much of what we know about the Etruscans came from their artifacts, which were scattered far outside of Etruria as artists and artisans came and went into this center of the arts, making, selling and taking their products through much of what is now Italy. Editor Camporeale (Etruscology and Italian archeology, U. of Florence) and his contributors explore the influence of the Etruscans region by region, from more general evaluations of their presence in Europe and the Mediterranean to examinations of their buildings and art from Veneto and Liguria to Umbria, Apulia, Corsica and Sicily.
