Golden Foot: A Story About Unselfish Love

The noble deer Golden Foot rules as king over a large herd. When he is caught in a hunter's snare, his mate, Graceful, pleads with the hunter, offering herself in exchange. The hunter is so touched with her plea that he sets Golden Foot free. As a reward, Golden Foot offers the hunter three magical jewels and urges him to help, rather than harm, those in need.
