Heidi J. A. Carter is the Lay Associate for Ministry at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She has served numerous task forces in the Episcopal Church regarding human sexuality and is a board member of numerous St. Louis-area LGBTQ agencies. With over thirty years of experience in Christian formation focused on youth and adults, she was a formation leader on diocesan staff for thirteen years in the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri and served as president of Forma from 1999 to 2002.
