Mental Health and Primary Care

A joint publication with The Mental Health Foundation, this book examines the problems that confront all practitioners who treat mental health problems in primary care. It also sets an agenda for the research that must be done to discover how psychiatric and primary care teams can best work together in their care of the mentally ill. A non-partisan approach is adopted, highlighting the differences of opinion held by different professionals and by patients, and the challenges that face them at a time of rapid change.
