Isle of Joy: New & Selected Works

Series of works forming a phenomenological spiral to express the mysteries of being and expression. Sections include classical Fragments; Observations on weeds, clouds, rain, and time; Dreaming of expansion, cities, fire, and wolves; Memories of bluebirds, wildness, moments, and druids; Imagining goddesses, bears and forests; Practicing moments, sleep, escape, and freedom; Understanding Marishimira, starlight, flight, dance, and tears; and, Participating in the forest, sea, storm, animals, and wildness. Over 50 paintings by Verona ReBow are matched with the writing and reproduced at a smaller scale; some paintings and poems were altered to fit each other.
