Most of the poems in this collection were included in Vagabond's House, Blanding's most popular and well-known book. A trained artist, he went on to write numerous books of poetry and prose, illustrated with his own signature pen-and-ink drawings. He toured the country reading his poetry and sharing his experiences of Hawaii, signing numerous books for his many fans and introducing listeners to his favorite word - Aloha.
