This 7" x 10" book is printed on excellent quality papers; design, paper and printing are closely integrated; the work is printed in two colours, sepia and black; the Anderson drawings of pelicans are printed in sepia within thin rule black frames.

In that this work is both art and natural history it might reach a wide audience, both those interested in Anderson as artist and those interested in the natural history of pelicans and life on the Chandeleur Islands.
