Meg Jamison, an accomplished mid-life artist and all-around do-gooder in the small college town of Riverside, organizes the local talent into forming an artist's gallery row. But several of the older gallery owners rebel against this idea. Suddenly there are strange fires and explosions in the surrounding shops, stores and galleries.

Between saving a historical mansion and turning it into an art center and converted an elderly tailor with boxes of buttons into a successful artisan, Meg has her hands full as she uses her internal radio voices and the missing asthma inhaler to finally ferret out the misguided arsonist.
