A Study in the Use of Hypnosis to Subvert Polygraphic Findings

An informative manual that will be beneficial to law-enforcement personnel, especially those involved in administering polygraph examinations and those using investigative hypnosis in the course of their duties. There have been very few studies done over the years that deal with hypnosis and polygraph results and how hypnosis might affect the polygraph examination. This particular study done by doctor Kuhns was a very controlled and monitored study which concluded that a competent, experienced polygraph examiner could still make a final determination as to the veracity of the subject being tested even when they attempt to use hypnosis as a countermeasure. This manual will be a good addition for any investigator and/or polygraph examiner to have on their reference book shelf and in their library.
