This book contains a sequence of poems by Mark Goodwin, followed by a sequence, in reponse, by Julia Thornley. Goodwin's poems are thmeselves are formed by 'writing through' the poetry of English poet Peter Riley. This is therefore, a true modernist, inter-textual work, which combines its modernism with pastoral, crafted verse.
