Befana Drama 2: Capriccia's Conundrum

Since Bef managed to save her Very Important Present Bringer (VIPB) patch in Italy, things have been on the up. She's never been so popular and is about to open her own theme park, Befland, with the support of her friends, the Dubai boy band, 'The Three Kings'. But as plans for the stupendous Befland unfold, her enemies - both new and centuries old - are out for revenge and determined to prevent its opening.

One by one, the things and people Bef loves most are targeted, leaving Bef at her wits' end, as she finds herself caught up in a particularly nasty conundrum based upon 'statuefication'. Dreamed up by the deranged, hopscotch-obsessed fairy, Fiery Tina, and carried out by the very dim Capriccia Claus, eyeing a return to her Casa of Contentments, this has one intention in mind. The problem is ... Bef does not know what that is!

Can Bef avoid falling into a trap that could change her life forever? Will Capriccia succeed with the help of evil broom artisan, Bernhardt Bürstenfrisür? Will the 'best reindeer whisperer the world has ever known' ride to Bef's rescue guided by the Rock of Erik the Enraged? And will Bef have a secret weapon up her sleeve nobody else knows about? Only the lucky reader will find out.

Capriccia's Conundrum is the sequel to The Befana Drama, but can be easily read in its own right. It is a thrilling read for children aged over 9, but equally engaging for young-at-heart adults and is once again, like Befana Drama 1, packed with larger-than-life characters. Full of adventure, twists and turns and shifting dynamics, it's a page turner to the very end.
