World War I is drawing to a close and Dorro Courtenay's passion for her younger sister's pilot boyfriend, Charlie Davenport, leads her down a dangerous path which requires her to completely reinvent herself.
He is a much decorated WWI hero; charismatic, good looking, irresponsible and pursued by creditors.
