A Journey to Madagascar

This Second Grade adventure begins in the Minnesota History Center where the class learns about tornados and the history of Minnesota. Their trip to the history center was to learn about Benjamin Franklin's discovery of electricity.
Learn how the students trigger a shock that transports the class and the reader to the island country of Madagascar where Lemurs of all species romp and insects and other crawly creatures abound. Venture into the jungle with these eight-year-olds as they discover the Madagascan people and the perceived threat to unique animals that live in the disappearing forests.
